One of the most prolific musicians and teachers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Marcella Sembrich’s career included lead roles in the opening season of The Metropolitan Opera and operatic, recital, and concert appearances across Europe and the United States. Her 55-acre estate in Bolton Landing includes a teaching studio which remains open to this day.
