Public Computers

The Bolton Free Library has two public computers as well as Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi (LibraryWireless) is available 24/7, so even when we are closed, you can still access the Internet from our parking lot – there is no password.

We also have copy, fax, and scan services. B&W copies are 15 cents a page and color copies are 35 cents a page. Faxes are $1.00 a page. Our fax number is 518.644.2234.

We have a notary on staff. Please call to confirm available hours for notary services. Notary services are free.

The Bolton Free Library has a selection of things that can be checked out with a library card:

Birding Backpack – Go have an adventure! Comes with 2 sets of binoculars, bird identification cards and much more! Donated by our friends at Southern Adirondack Audubon Society

Hiking Backpack – Ready to take the kids on a hike? Why not sign out our Junior Naturalist Hiking Backpack, given to us by our friends at Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center? It comes with hiking poles, a bug catcher, and laminated cards of hiking tips and maps of popular family friendly trails.

And now library card holders have even more digital content to choose from!

OverDrive participates in reciprocal lending with Mohawk Valley, Mid-Hudson and Upper Hudson Library Systems.  This program allows patrons to borrow select available content from any partner system’s OverDrive collection.  To access the available titles, patrons just need to add the other library systems to their accounts in the Libby app and log in with their library card.  Instructions for how to add a library can be found here for Libby, and are listed below.


Kanopy

Bolton Free Library now offers Kanopy to our patrons! If you have a Bolton Free Library card, you can sign up for Kanopy for FREE to get access to thousands of movies with your library card.

Go to https://boltonlibrary.kanopy.com/ to create an account by simply adding your Bolton Free Library card number and PIN or password.
