Lake George Hike-A-Thon

July 5, 2026

Registration required: Lake George Land Conservancy

Join the 14th Annual Lake George Hike-A-Thon and After Party!

The Lake George Land Conservancy’s annual Lake George Hike-A-Thon is a one-day event held each July 5th, created to showcase LGLC’s parks and preserves as free public resources, and to promote an appreciation for the outdoors and protecting the land that protects the lake.

Hikes and paddles take place simultaneously at locations around Lake George, culminating with aerial photography of each group by helicopter. Sites vary in difficulty, from fully accessible to very challenging – and with 25 group sites all around Lake George, and the additional virtual option, there’s something for everyone!

All registered participants are offered a free event t-shirt to wear for the hike and/or photo op.

After the morning of hikes and paddles, all are welcome to join us at the After Party for free drinks, live music, lawn games and activities, kids’ crafting tent, food trucks, vendors and community guests, and more!

The Hike-A-Thon and its After Party are free, but advance registrations for the morning hikes and paddles are required. Visit LakeGeorgeHikeAThon.org for more information, including site details and how to register.

Registration opens Monday, March 2, at 10 A.M. Some sites fill up very quickly – be ready!
