Come help “Color Our World” (and each other!) in this fun, MESSY outdoor program for Tweens ages 8-12.
Participants will be divided into two teams for games like Red Rover and Capture the Flag. When the games begin they will use colorful cornstarch based powder to tag each other in a kaleidoscope of colors!
After the games are over, we will help participants process their souvenir shirts to set the color powder using a vinegar soak and a hot iron.
Registration is required so that each participant can be provided with a white t-shirt, bandanna and sunglasses to wear during the program (and take home as a souvenir)
Please note: Participants should dress for a mess as clothes and shoes worn during the program will be stained by the color powder.
Since this is an outdoor event, there is a chance that it may be rescheduled due to the weather.
This program is part of the Color Our World Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults.
